About the Role:
We are seeking a Travel Anesthesia Technician for a 13-week assignment. This role involves assisting anesthesia providers in operating rooms by preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting efficient surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist anesthesia providers with equipment setup and patient preparation.
- Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment.
- Ensure adequate inventory of anesthesia supplies.
- Support anesthesia teams during procedures to ensure efficiency and patient safety.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to optimize workflow in the operating room.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and procedures.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Compliance with all hospital safety and infection control protocols.
