About the Role:

We are seeking a Travel General/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment. This role involves performing high-quality general and vascular ultrasound imaging to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. The ideal candidate is experienced in both general and vascular sonography, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians to evaluate imaging results.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and use of ultrasound equipment for optimal image quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document findings appropriately.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in all procedures.
• Educate patients about ultrasound procedures and provide compassionate care.
• Adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification preferred.
• Previous experience in general and vascular ultrasound.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound imaging equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vascular and general anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
