About the Role:

We are seeking a Travel EEG Technologist for a 12-week assignment. This position involves performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) to assess and monitor brain activity for neurological conditions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in neurodiagnostic testing, and committed to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct EEG studies to record and analyze brain activity for neurological assessments.
• Apply electrodes and ensure proper placement for accurate recordings.
• Monitor and document patient responses during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide diagnostic support.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, troubleshooting as needed.
• Educate patients about EEG procedures and provide reassurance throughout testing.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification preferred.
• Previous experience performing EEG studies and neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Strong knowledge of neurological conditions and EEG interpretation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.
