A & S Electrical Services is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with expertise in McCormick Systems for project estimating. We are a mid-sized electrical contractor specializing in commercial, residential, and light industrial projects. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical bids, attending bid walk-throughs, and coordinating with vendors to secure competitive pricing.

We have been serving the industry since 1984 and are a well-established electrical contractor in the state. Our commitment to excellence and employee satisfaction is reflected in our long-standing team, with many employees staying with us for over 20 years.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects.
• Participate in bid walk-throughs to assess project scope and requirements.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for estimates.
• Review and analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise estimates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project challenges.
• Maintain organized records of estimates and bid documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align estimates with project execution plans.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Proficiency in McCormick Systems for estimating.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, residential, and light industrial electrical work.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and dependable with strong time management skills.

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and vendors.
