About the Role:

We are seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment . In this role, you will work alongside occupational therapists to support patient rehabilitation, helping individuals regain independence in daily activities.

Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by an occupational therapist.
Work directly with patients to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
Help patients develop or regain daily living and work-related skills.
Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and adaptive techniques.
Maintain and organize therapy equipment and supplies.
Adhere to facility policies and industry regulations to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain one).
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or occupational therapy setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients and healthcare teams.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.
